We are Merfyn and Trish Jones and have been in the antiques business for the past thirty years, in the beautiful town of Beaumaris, on the Isle of Anglesey.<\/p>\n

Specialising in Welsh country furniture, folk art and related decorative items, we travel many hundreds of miles each month sourcing these wonderful objects, before sympathetically restoring them and moving them on to the next stage of their lives.<\/p>\n

We have been in our present shop at 42A Castle Street, which is the high street, for over fifteen years, having moved from another premises, thus making us one of the oldest owner owned businesses in Beaumaris.<\/p>\n

We have four grown up children, who have given us nine beautiful grandchildren, thus making us very very young grandparents!<\/p>\n

Our shop is at 42A Castle Street and we live above our gallery at 44 Castle Street, so as in days gone by, we live above the shop!<\/p>\n

Buying and selling antiques is a way of life we love, the people we meet and the friends we make are a wonderful bonus.<\/p>\n

We have been featured on TV and in many lifestyle magazines, but have never been too good with computer technology, so have been dragged, kicking and screaming into the 21st century.<\/p>\n

The business name is Welsh and the “a’i Fab” means “and son”, though our son has his own antique business based in Cheshire, whilst our three daughters pursue successful careers outside of the antique trade<\/p>\n
