Welsh oak miniature coffer (mule chest)

Dated 1915 and initialled g.e.g.(or s.e.s.)

Probably an Eisteddfod piece as it has the words “Duw cariad yw” (God is love) carved  on the three opening drawers to the base, and the symbol for AWEN (muse) to the central panel.

Height 7 1/4 inches

Width !0 1/2 inches.  Depth 5 1/4 inches.
